INTERDEPENDENCE is a charming and unique film comprising eleven short-movies. The key stories illustrated by the eleven internationally recognised filmmakers reflect the intertwined relationship between human society and the natural environment that are aggravated by climate change on multiple dimensions and scales.
Interdependence follows on Art for The World’s successful production of Stories of Human Rights – 22 short movies commissioned by UNHCR for the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration on Human Rights.
Participants were globally selected for their well-established artistic credentials and their strong commitment to addressing issues and themes related to the environment and climate change. This new film anthology explores the concept of Interdependence and our urgent need to reduce environmental damage and to preserve our natural resources, in respect of the four fundamental elements essential for our life on our planet.
