Narelle’s interest in Sea Shepherd was sparked back in 2014 following a tour of Sea Shepherd’s flagship vessel Steve Irwin which was docked in Williamstown.

Since 2016, recognising the impact that marine plastic pollution is having on our oceans, Narelle has been an integral team member in the Marine Debris Campaign. Narelle is currently the Melbourne Marine Debris Team Coordinator, Victorian State Coordinator and for the past two years, Narelle has travelled to Arnhem Land, Northern Territory as a crew member on Sea Shepherd’s remote clean-up campaign joining forces with the Dhimurru Indigenous Rangers and working together to address the devastating impact of marine pollution on the sacred shores of Djulpan.
