Rory McLeod, grew up in the desert of Central Australia, but is currently based in Victoria, he is a filmmaker who has a passion for social justice and the environment. The type of world that he would like to contribute to is a world where people look out for each other’s needs as human beings and to give and receive from a place of willing rather than have to or should. He studied Film and Television at Swinburne University in Melbourne for 3 years with a strong focus on Cinematography and Directing.
Since then he has worked as a freelance filmmaker on projects across multiple states in Australia such as: short films, music videos, archival and documentary . When the River Runs Dry is Rory’s first feature length documentary and the film deals with social and environmental issues at the forefront of Australia’s issues.
