Nicole Precel is an award-winning journalist, documentary maker and social entrepreneur. She works full time as a journalist and audio video producer at The Age and has made a range of documentaries for Al Jazeera, SBS 2, Current TV, BBC London and worked for, Marie Claire, News Corp, Summer Foundation, UNFPA and more.

She’s reported from the Black Saturday bushfires, interviewed Prime Ministers and worked with ethnic minorities in Vietnam, Australia and Vanuatu. She has a strong passion for human rights, justice, women and disability rights.

She is also the co-founder of not-profit Co-Ground, which runs social enterprises, including Co-Ground Coffee, to fuel community-led education and livelihood projects in remote Vanuatu and soon to be in the Philippines.
